Back-tracking

Interrupting my Christmas posts to give a glimpse of my boy's 7th birthday party!  He requested a Lego party, and thanks to Pinterest and faithful bloggers, I was able to pull this together without too much trouble!

The morning of...if you've followed Yellow Hat birthdays for any time, you know they get pancakes in the shape of their choice on the blue plate on THE big day.  Leftover icing and a square mold = lego.

After tennis lessons and Daddy's return from work, 

he got to open his gift from us. 

 It's a hit (with the girls, too)!

Leftover cake and ice cream to top the night off!
