Lexicon of a Nine Year Old

I supplement Big Girl's Language Arts program with a vocabulary workbook called Wordly Wise.  They're given a short story to read at the end of each lesson followed by a series of questions that either use a vocabulary word in the question or the answer is expected to be given using the correct vocab word.

The last story in the book was about William Tell and the wicked governor Gessler.  Tell was an expert with the crossbow and in the end, he kills Gessler and saves the canton Uri, leading to the establishment of Switzerland (so the story goes).

When I corrected her work, I laughed until I cried:

15. Did Gessler's death have an immediate result?  Yes, it was faster than eventual.
