{Gorgeous orange roses on the piano}
My friend Marci and I hosted the first KAVA coffee morning for the military attache wives on the 14th at my apartment. We had originally expected up to 40 ladies to attend since this was the first meeting after the long summer break, but only about half that many came because there was a state visit going on.
You can see one of the drink stations in the background-

Sofia T. was hired to help set up and serve- she is the chef for the Deputy Chief of Mission here in Kyiv and knows everyone and everything. In short, she is amazing. (Her boss's wife makes all the jewelry she has on- we were playing around with all of the necklaces before everyone came!)
These ladies are so much fun and I love getting to know about other cultures!
Do you have the opportunity to be around

ReplyDeleteIf you ever have a desire to go back to work at some point, you would make a fantastic event coordinator. The table looks amazing! When you move back to the states, you need to move within driving distance of me and I want to be invited to a 'Tara party.' ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing Tara! You must share your pumpkin pecan praline cake recipe!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love being in a setting with people from around the globe. Our International Church comes to mind. We attended a fall festival and had food from so many different regions.
