I had actually written this back in the spring when
The Boy finally potty trained,
so some of you may have already seen this.

Dear Mr. McQueen,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the positive impact you've had on my family, especially my son. So many movie stars have lives defined by scandal, forcing parents to have premature discussions with their children about serious topics. You, however, have taken your stardom seriously and have influenced countless children in a constructive manner. I particularly want to note your humility. It's not your average Mike Moviestar that can handle his image being reconstructed on preschool boys' underwear, but you have held your head high and submitted yourself to the greater good for all mankind. I am forever indebted. You will always be a champion in my eyes.
